MMT is not a left wing, or right wing economic theory for that matter, and it’s certainly not Marxist. MMT is complex but mainly points out that money is unlimited while real goods and resources are what is limited, this implies unemployment in an economy is a policy choice caused by an insufficient government deficit. If you want to generate the needed deficit through tax cuts that would be a conservative MMT solution, while increased spending to generate the deficit would be a liberal MMT solution. TLDR MMT can be left or right wing it’s just an economic theory

Respectfully, you don’t know much about Marxian economics and aren’t qualified to judge this school of thought if you consider these books Marxist. I’m not a Marxist, but I have studied it as I have recently become interested in heterodox economics, such as Austrian and Post-Keynesian. I recommend Marxian economics: An Introduction, by David Ruccio, to genuinely try to understand this economic school of thought.

Why because of cost of piracy increases you move MB (quantity demanded) upward but instead you name it as the MC curve's shift? So, the final outcome makes economic sense but the logics of your acts and sequance are not clear.

man, i think this was brilliant. your points about the research and science based books versus the stories (often ancient) is something i find increasingly true. i've not heard anyone say what you did on the benefit of reading "more" productivity books. a few tools in use are better than 100 in the attic.

Poverty traps are hard to find???? Are you kidding me lol? When rent is 50-80% of your pay, when you have to maintain a car to get to work which takes like 10-20%, you are telling me you can't figure out what poverty traps are??? Not most people are perfect obviously, so if you make a human work 60-80hrs a week just to tread water, their mental state is going to deteriorate. When their mental state deteriorates they are going to make stupid choices like fast food, paying too much for a car, taking out payday loans. Also if someone is spending 80hrs a week working menial jobs then they physically don't have the time to invest into learning skills needed to escape poverty. Combine this with the fact that most humans have intense sexual desires (like they evolved to have) and then you get humans breeding when they don't make enough to take care of themselves further worsening the problem. To escape poverty you have to be mentally 100% all the time. You can't make ANY MISTAKES. Hell for a lot of people even if you DO play the game super well something bad could happen to you and wipe it all away, especially when you are surrounded by OTHER stressed, mentally distraught people. What??? I thought this was common knowledge. How many people are going yo be hustling, networking, working 80 hours a week, know how to fix their car for super cheap, etc? Especially when you grow wealth super slow and it can be wiped out instantly with one poor mistake. Someone making $200 a day takes FOREVER to build wealth but all it takes is on shiesty salesman to take all that savings from you.
